Novizou Houserules
At Novizou, we are committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable shopping experience for all our customers. To maintain the integrity of our platform and to protect the interests of our customers and business, we have established the following house rules. By using our webshop, you agree to abide by these rules.
1. Fraudulent Transactions
At Novizou, we do not tolerate payments made with stolen financial information or through fraudulent means, such as stolen or false credit and debit cards, hacked account and stolen gift cards.
Orders can be blocked based on notifcations received during the fulfillment process, such as notifications about an individual being a 'restricted party' on a fraud list.
2. Account Fraud
Novizou offers benefits to customers who create an account. Each individual is allowed one (1) account. The creation of a second account using different information for the purpose of reeiving additional benefits may result in account blocking.
Customers are not entitled to receive benefits for creating additional accounts when these benefits have already been received with the initial account.
Customers creating an excessive number of accounts (more than 2) and attempting to claim benefits for each year will face a 1-year block. Novizou will notify the customer.
3. Abuse of Gifts and Promotions
If a customer wishes to return an order that came with a gift, the gift must be included in the return shipment. Failure to return the gift may result in a deduction from the refund. Repeated violations may lead to account blocking.
Promotional codes and discounts cannot be combined. Each promotion has a specific code or discount and should not be used in conjunction with other promotions.
4. Unfounded Returns and Claims
In the case of multiple claims (e.g., complaints about broken items, missing items and/or wrong deliveries) in a short period of time, Novizou may block a customer's account from placing orders and/or making payment untill sufficient proof of the complaints is provided. Novizou wil notify the customer.
5. Blocked Account/Payments
When a customer's account is blocked from placing orders and making payments on the website, Novizou will inform the customer of the reason and duration. Customers can still reply in case of questions or to supply proof of a false blocking.
6. Data Protection
In cases where a customer's account is blocked from transactions, Novizou will add the customer and relevant account(s) to its fraud database to prevent fraudulent use. Personal data in this database will be retained for a maximum of 5 years, depending on severity of the breach of the Novizou House Rules. Novizou will process this personal data in compliance with applicable data laws and regulations, including the GDPR.
Please note that limited data (such as data in the fraud database) will be retained even if a customer requests deletion of personal data to prevent the bypass of the account block.
